EcoAdventure, founded in 2012 by Tommy Lönnebacke and Ingela Mattson, is dedicated to providing guests and customers with the most memorable and enjoyable experiences. Their mission is to craft unforgettable adventures and lasting memories for all who join them in Säfsen, Dalarna (Sweden).

EcoAdventure offers magical and exciting activities in both winter and summer, and has special guided adventures for families.

Snowshoeing or skiing in the forest – perhaps you’d like to do it in the dark as well? Ice fishing, or why not discover the ultimate wellness ritual: the soothing heat of a traditional sauna followed by the refreshing thrill of an ice bath?

Discover wildlife and explore untouched nature on a moose or beaver safari, a private lake fishing adventure or packrafting.

You also won’t want to miss the chance to enjoy an exclusive dining experience on a private island – of course with dishes inspired by Nordic flavours and made from locally and seasonally sourced ingredients.

The basis of the business operation working in nature is that it requires care and respect. “We are far from perfect, but we are constantly striving to become a little better and greener in our everyday lives. Sustainability work never ends!”

Their goal is to run the business long-term and protect the unique nature of Säfsen. Therefore, EcoAdventure takes local conditions into account and carries out guided tours in a responsible manner with regard to history, culture, safety and practicality. Guests also get to learn about all this from the knowledgeable guides and hosts.

The company has been quality-labelled by Nature’s Best Sweden since 2024.
